Details

This integration uses pre-built, source-available components from Pipedream's GitHub repo. These components are developed by Pipedream and the community, and verified and maintained by Pipedream.

To contribute an update to an existing component or create a new component, create a PR on GitHub. If you're new to Pipedream component development, you can start with quickstarts for trigger span and action development, and then review the component API reference.

Trigger

Description:Emit new event when a new child object is discovered within a specific path
Version:0.0.8
Key:firebase_admin_sdk-new-child-object

Firebase Admin Overview

The Firebase Admin SDK API provides powerful backend functionality for Firebase apps. It allows you to interact with Firebase services like Firestore, Firebase Realtime Database, Firebase Storage, and Firebase Authentication directly from a server. With Pipedream, you can harness this API to automate complex workflows, respond to Firebase events in real-time, and integrate with countless other services.

Trigger Code

import common from "../common/common.mjs";

export default {
  ...common,
  key: "firebase_admin_sdk-new-child-object",
  name: "New Child Object in a Realtime Database",
  description: "Emit new event when a new child object is discovered within a specific path",
  version: "0.0.8",
  type: "source",
  dedupe: "unique",
  props: {
    ...common.props,
    path: {
      propDefinition: [

        "path",
      ],
    },
  },
  methods: {
    ...common.methods,
    async processEvent(event) {
      const { timestamp } = event;
      const ref = this.firebase.getApp().database()
        .ref(this.path);
      const snapshot = await ref.get();
      const children = snapshot.val() || {};
      for (const [
        key,
        value,
      ] of Object.entries(children)) {
        const meta = this.generateMeta(key, timestamp);
        const child = {
          [key]: value,
        };
        this.$emit(child, meta);
      }
    },
    generateMeta(key, timestamp) {
      return {

        summary: `New child object: ${key}`,
        ts: timestamp,
      };
    },
  },
};

Action Authentication

Google Drive uses OAuth authentication. When you connect your Google Drive account, Pipedream will open a popup window where you can sign into Google Drive and grant Pipedream permission to connect to your account. Pipedream securely stores and automatically refreshes the OAuth tokens so you can easily authenticate any Google Drive API.

Pipedream requests the following authorization scopes when you connect your account:

https://www.googleapis.com/auth/drive

About Google Drive

Google Drive is a file storage and synchronization service which allows you to create and share your work online, and access your documents from anywhere.
