Microsoft Teams Overview#

The Microsoft Teams API on Pipedream allows you to automate tasks, streamline communication, and integrate with other services to enhance the functionality of Teams as a collaboration hub. With this API, you can send messages to channels, orchestrate complex workflows based on Teams events, and manage Teams' settings programmatically.

Trigger Configuration#

This component may be configured based on the props defined in the component code. Pipedream automatically prompts for input values in the UI and CLI.

Trigger Authentication#

Microsoft Teams uses OAuth authentication. When you connect your Microsoft Teams account, Pipedream will open a popup window where you can sign into Microsoft Teams and grant Pipedream permission to connect to your account. Pipedream securely stores and automatically refreshes the OAuth tokens so you can easily authenticate any Microsoft Teams API.

Pipedream requests the following authorization scopes when you connect your account:

Invite link name	`name`	`string`	Invite link name; 0-32 characters
Invite link expire date	`expire_date`	`integer`	Point in time (Unix timestamp) when the link will expire, in unix time (e.g. `1567780450`).
Maximum number of users	`member_limit`	`integer`	Maximum number of users that can be members of the chat simultaneously after joining the chat via this invite link; 1-99999
Creates join request	`creates_join_request`	`boolean`	True, if users joining the chat via the link need to be approved by chat administrators. If True, member_limit can't be specified

Action Authentication#

Telegram Bot uses API keys for authentication. When you connect your Telegram Bot account, Pipedream securely stores the keys so you can easily authenticate to Telegram Bot APIs in both code and no-code steps.

To use the Telegram Bot API, you must first create a new bot by chatting with the BotFather.

After you create your bot, copy the bot token and add it below.
