Details

This integration uses pre-built, source-available components from Pipedream's GitHub repo. These components are developed by Pipedream and the community, and verified and maintained by Pipedream.

To contribute an update to an existing component or create a new component, create a PR on GitHub. If you're new to Pipedream component development, you can start with quickstarts for trigger span and action development, and then review the component API reference.

Trigger

Description:Emit new event each time a new project is created
Version:0.0.1
Key:timing-new-project

Timing Overview

The Timing app provides detailed time tracking capabilities, enabling users to automatically log time spent on various tasks and improve productivity. Using Pipedream’s integration, one could build workflows that trigger when new time entries are created, sync time data with other project management tools, or compile reports for invoicing and accountability. It's all about harnessing the power of automated time tracking to streamline processes.

Trigger Code

import common from "../common/base.mjs";
import sampleEmit from "./test-event.mjs";

export default {
  ...common,
  key: "timing-new-project",
  name: "New Project Created",
  description: "Emit new event each time a new project is created",
  version: "0.0.1",
  type: "source",
  dedupe: "unique",
  methods: {
    ...common.methods,
    generateMeta(project) {
      return {
        id: project.self,
        summary: `New Project: ${project.title}`,
        ts: Date.now(),
      };
    },
  },
  async run() {
    const { data } = await this.timing.listProjects();
    for (const project of data) {
      const meta = this.generateMeta(project);
      this.$emit(project, meta);
    }
  },
  sampleEmit,
};

Trigger Configuration

This component may be configured based on the props defined in the component code. Pipedream automatically prompts for input values in the UI and CLI.

Action

Description:Uploads an image to a SmugMug album. [See the docs here](https://api.smugmug.com/services/api/?method=upload)
Version:0.1.1
Key:smugmug-upload-image

SmugMug Overview

The SmugMug API provides programmatic access to a user's SmugMug account, allowing them to manage photos, albums, and account settings. With Pipedream, you can automate tasks such as uploading new images, synchronizing photo galleries with other platforms, or triggering actions based on account activity. The API's capabilities paired with Pipedream's serverless platform enable you to craft custom workflows that react to events in SmugMug or orchestrate tasks across multiple apps.

Action Code

import smugmug from "../../smugmug.app.mjs";
import { getFileStreamAndMetadata } from "@pipedream/platform";
import FormData from "form-data";

export default {
  key: "smugmug-upload-image",
  name: "Upload Image",

      description: "Album Key of the album where image will be uploaded",
    },
    filePath: {
      type: "string",
      label: "File Path or URL",
      description: "The file to upload. Provide either a file URL or a path to a file in the `/tmp` directory (for example, `/tmp/myFile.txt`).",
    },
    syncDir: {
      type: "dir",
      accessMode: "read",
      sync: true,
      optional: true,
    },
  },
  async run({ $ }) {
    const filename = this.filePath.split("/").pop();

    const album = await this.smugmug.getAlbum(this.album, {
      $,
    });
    const albumUri = album.Response.Uri;

    const data = new FormData();
    const {
      stream, metadata,
    } = await getFileStreamAndMetadata(this.filePath);
    data.append("file", stream, {
      contentType: metadata.contentType,
      knownLength: metadata.size,
      filename: metadata.name,
    });

    const response = await this.smugmug.uploadImage(filename, albumUri, data, $);
    if (response.stat === "ok") {
      $.export("$summary", "Image successfully uploaded");
    } else {
      $.export("$summary", `${response.message}`);
    }
    return response;
  },
};

Action Authentication

SmugMug uses OAuth authentication. When you connect your SmugMug account, Pipedream will open a popup window where you can sign into SmugMug and grant Pipedream permission to connect to your account. Pipedream securely stores and automatically refreshes the OAuth tokens so you can easily authenticate any SmugMug API.

Pipedream requests the following authorization scopes when you connect your account:
