IMPLEMENTATION
Call this tool
Connect a user's IONOS Hosting Services account once, then configure and run Update DNS Record from your backend or agent.
import { PipedreamClient } from "@pipedream/sdk"

Inputs
Pipedream supplies the connected account. Your application provides the operation-specific values below. Dynamic inputs are resolved against that user's account.
| Property | Type | Description |
|---|---|---|
zoneId Zone ID | string | The DNS zone ID (UUID format, e.g. 4ab3a7e2-1234-5678-abcd-ef0123456789). Run List DNS Zones to retrieve available zones; use the id field from each returned object — not the name field (e.g. example.com) or the type field. Required |
recordId Record ID | string | The DNS record ID (UUID format, e.g. 90d81ac0-3a30-44d4-95a5-12959effa6ee). Run Get DNS Zone first to obtain a valid record ID from the zone's records array — use the id field of each record object. Required |
content Content | string | New record content/value (e.g. 5.6.7.8 for an A record). Optional |
ttl TTL | integer | New time-to-live in seconds (e.g. 3600). Optional |
prio Priority | integer | New priority value (used by record types such as MX and SRV). Optional |
disabled Disabled | boolean | Whether the record is disabled (not served). Optional |
