GitHub ACTION

Update Pull Request

Update an existing pull request's title, body, state (open/closed), or base branch. Only the fields you provide are changed. Provide the repository as an owner/repo string and the PR number. If you only know the PR by title, call Get Pull Request or Search Issues and Pull Requests with is:pr first to resolve its number. To merge a PR, use Merge Pull Request; to comment on it, use Create Issue Comment. See the documentation

SCHEMA

Inputs

Pipedream supplies the connected account. Your application provides the operation-specific values below. Dynamic inputs are resolved against that user's account.

Update Pull Request inputs
Property Type Description
repoFullname Repository string
The repository in owner/repo format, for example PipedreamHQ/pipedream (not case sensitive). If you pass just a repository name with no owner (e.g. my-repo), the authenticated user is assumed as the owner — convenient for "my repo" requests. Do NOT repeat the repository name as the owner (e.g. my-repo/my-repo); if you don't know the owner, pass only the name or run List Repositories to find it.
Required
pullNumber Pull Request Number integer
The pull request number — the #N shown in the GitHub UI. Use Search Issues and Pull Requests with is:pr or Get Pull Request to find it when you only know the title.
Required
title Title string
The new title of the pull request.
Optional
body Body string
The new contents of the pull request body. Supports GitHub-flavored Markdown.
Optional
state State string
The desired state of the pull request. Set to closed to close it without merging, or open to reopen.
Optional
base Base Branch string
The name of the branch you want the changes pulled into, e.g. main. Must be an existing branch in the repository.
Optional
