Brex ACTION
Search Card Transactions
Searches settled card transactions across all card accounts by merchant, amount, date, or cardholder, and returns each transaction's
expense_id, the handle Brex uses for the matching expense and its receipt. Non-admin users only ever see their own purchases, refunds, and chargebacks. Unlike List Transactions for Primary Card Account, which returns the same transactions unfiltered, this action applies filters and expands expense_id. See the documentation- Action

IMPLEMENTATION
Call this tool
Connect a user's Brex account once, then configure and run Search Card Transactions from your backend or agent.

Inputs
Pipedream supplies the connected account. Your application provides the operation-specific values below. Dynamic inputs are resolved against that user's account.
| Property | Type | Description |
|---|---|---|
postedAtStart Posted At Start | string | Return only transactions posted on or after this date-time, in RFC 3339 notation, e.g. 2022-12-12T23:59:59.999Z. Brex can post transactions with a lag, so when polling repeatedly, overlap this with your previous window by a day or more and de-duplicate results by transaction id rather than advancing it to the exact end of the last poll. Optional |
postedAtEnd Posted At End | string | Only return transactions posted on or before this date-time, in RFC 3339 format, e.g. 2024-01-31T23:59:59.999Z. Brex has no server-side end date, so this is applied after fetching. Optional |
userIds Cardholders | string[] | Only return transactions made by these people. Use List Users to find a user ID by email address. Optional |
merchantQuery Merchant | string | Case-insensitive substring match on the merchant descriptor, e.g. amazon matches AMAZON WEB SERVICES. Brex has no server-side merchant filter, so this is applied after fetching. Optional |
minAmount Min Amount | integer | Only return records of at least this amount, in the currency's smallest denomination — 700 is $7.00 in USD. Applied after fetching, like Merchant. Optional |
maxAmount Max Amount | integer | Only return records of at most this amount, in the currency's smallest denomination — 700 is $7.00 in USD. Applied after fetching, like Merchant. Optional |
maxResults Max Results | integer | The maximum number of records to return, from 1 to 2000. Defaults to 100. Optional |
