Will Upgrading from "Free" to "Basic" Plan Affect My Access to Premium Apps and Additional Workspaces?

I’m on an old “Free” plan and have hit my daily limit. If I upgrade to “Basic” to remove the daily limit, will I lose:

  1. Access to the Premium Apps I use?
  2. Access to the additional workspaces I’ve created and the ability to create more in the future?

You should visit https://pipedream.com/pricing for the latest pricing, but I’ll do my best to answer. Upgrading from the “Free” plan to the “Basic” plan will not cause you to lose access to the Premium Apps you currently use. All plans, including the Basic plan, have access to all pre-built actions and triggers, and all of the workflow building capabilities. Additionally, upgrading your plan will not affect your access to the additional workspaces you’ve created, nor will it limit your ability to create more workspaces in the future. Workspaces are not tied to the specific tier, so you can continue to use and create workspaces as needed. Please see https://pipedream.com/pricing for more details on the features available with each plan.

Pi got part of that right, but re: Premium Apps, those are currently included in the Advanced plan, so that means your workflows will keep running, but in order to deploy changes to any workflow that uses a Premium App you’ll need to be on an Advanced plan. That’s also the case with your current Free workspace.

Access to the additional workspaces I’ve created and the ability to create more in the future?
Nothing will be changed or impacted here

When you change plans, that applies to a single workspace.

Interesting

I think something might be wonky with the feature-flagging. I definitely have been using Premium Apps on my Free Plan

Thanks for the reply :slightly_smiling_face:

You’ve been deploying changes to workflows that use premium apps and you’re in a Free workspace?

Yes

Maybe you’ve unlocked a secret power

I created a new workflow just the other day to play around with the Hubspot App which has the Premium flag on it

And you’ve deployed that workflow to production? You should still be able to test premium apps in the builder, but deploying to production should require the right plan.

Checking

Yes - I was able to deploy

Danny was right… you have a secret super-power. Guard it well!

Haha - Except for the fact that I’ve hit my daily limit of 100 credits

The hungry workflow causing the workspace to hit the daily limit is mostly custom code triggered by a webhook. Might move it to cloud run so I can keep this secret super-power which is helpful for small POCs.

Work smarter, not harder? What’s a POC?
