Proof of concept
Ah, of course. Actually your situation sounds quite familiar and illustrates
… a general style of use which is now pretty awkward wit the way PD’s pricing struture is evolving, as I’ve found too. The PD folks do seem open to finding ways to address this, so hopefully this may help with that.
Pricing and packaging in product-led growth strategies is hard.
So - sometimes - is listening to customers.
Just to chime in, if you have specific feedback on the pricing structure, we are definitely all ears! Happy to discuss any issues or challenges you’re running into.
Thanks I’m always delighted by how open and responsive you all are. ;ve had some discussion with @UMT4G7E5P about the same sort of thing before Xmas and also just responded to @U05LQARUKSP’s question about this in general
Basically, it’s about how well PD fit’s the small-scale, intricate, experimenting integrator as opposed to ‘teams developing serverless workflows’
Posted thread to Discourse: Will Upgrading from "Free" Plan to "Basic" Limit Access to Premium Apps and Workspaces?
Oop - They got me! My secret super-power is no more
Oh. That’s a shame. That means a two-tier upgrade to Advanced now as I understand it. Unfavourable comparison with Zapier which includes a limited number of ‘premium’ apps in its base tier. Also seems inconsistent with what PD was saying just last year about premium apps: Slack
With our pricing change in late October, the base cost of the Advanced tier was reduced from $99/month (paid annually) to $49/month (paid annually).
With the significant cost reduction for folks getting started on that tier, we opted to move premium apps back to the Advanced plan since we felt that the $588/year price point was not unreasonable, even for small teams.
OK, that explains what happened. But - simply - I think you’re getting this wrong.
