hi everyone, i’m having some big confusion with your Connect Proxy after many back and forth with your support. my system is fully integrated with Connect proxies, but I am having big doubts due to:
- There is no way to track the cost. I think there is now a List Usage endpoint thankfully, but that’s only good for my own general reporting. Connect Proxy is by nature for platforms, we need a way to track EACH CALL. This is a big blind spot, I was billed hundreds of dollars (but thankfully reverted) for a customer’s error due to repetitive calls. Zero visibility into anything about billing here, no budgeting etc.
- I was just told a few minutes ago, Connect Proxy calls are billed 1 CREDIT PER CALL. Is this correct? Everywhere you are saying 1 credit = 30 seconds computing. My calls take very little time, around 200-500ms and I am being charged 1 FULL CREDIT for each one of them? This is truly crazy and not documented anywhere. Billing documentation is really missing a lot about proxies.
I am very confused at this point. No way to properly track cost; and now this huge cost per call, I feel helpless. Please advise.
