How do I connect Pipedream to AirTable without being a developer?

New to pipedream. I’m not a developer and need a bit of guidance on connecting pipedream to AirTable. I’ve set up the onedrives I want connected in pipedream and don’t know how to connect it to AirTable. I believe that I need to copy an API key from one to another, but it seems that AirTable is using Tokens. Please assist.

Hey there, happy to help — you should still be able to create API keys in your Airtable account until January 2024. We intend on updating our integration to support their tokens as well as OAuth soon, but for now it still uses an API key. Sign in - Airtable

Yes, I have the API key copied from Airtable, now how do I integrate pipedream?

What are you trying to do with Airtable?

Basically, building a “master database” of .mp3’s that reside in multiple onedrive’s. I’m trying to create a “Library” that is searchable across multiple cloud drives. I also have a “master spreadsheet” of all .mp3’s that is available which would be nice to sync up.

This isn’t exactly what you want to do, but this video and blog post might help you get started using Airtable in Pipedream: Using Airtable as a Database with Next.js

Might be a good starting point for you

Thank you, this video is very helpful. I’ve forwarded to our technical contact to determine if we can make this work with our database. On the surface, I believe this is a good solution.

Great to hear!

Based upon our available technical resources, do you have someone that could do the necessary programming to link pipedream to airtable? I realize the video pretty much lays it out what needs to be done, but once someone does the coding, we can make adjustments as needed for our database.
