Just wanna say a few things, can’t think of a better channel to post this in
Can we hope for improved Python support in the future?
For one, I appreciate that we can publish custom PD components using NodeJS, but Python is in my opinion a language that’s better suited to certain tasks like NLP, Data Science etc.
Also, I’ve noticed certain libraries/SDKs seem to not work inside of PD’s Python environment. I was trying to import the SERP library, but it wouldn’t let me.
Also, one of Pipedream’s best features is the ability to add code to your workflows. This alone makes it a lot better than, say, Zapier for me. But UX wise, the IDEs could be better. Even when I’m fullscreen they take up only so much width on the page. I wish also if we were invoking functions they’d be colored differently.
Finally, the text fields on all PD actions become a chore to use when there’s even a slightly significant amount of text input in them. When I click the mouse anywhere on the bottom a sizable text field, the cursor floats and sometimes I can’t really tell if I’m deleting the right word.
