Trying to create an automation that syncs my gcals and I built a workflow thats working but when I optimized the steps to just 2, the old workflow that has 7 steps is still firing somehow. When I click on it in the events history it 404s. How is an old workflow still active?

yea i asked it to update the workflow
but i copied it before that so i had a back up, i thought that could be the problem so i deleted the duplicate
Ok honestly not entirely following what happened, but I can fix the problem - stopping that original workflow from running
