Why Has Our Pipedream Workflow Stopped Detecting Shopify App Installs Since July 1st?

This topic was automatically generated from Slack. You can find the original thread here.

Hi all. We have a Pipedream workflow to pick up Shopify App Installs and drop them into a G Sheet. The workflow has worked fine every single day and triggers every 5 minutes. We have no errors but for some reason it hasn’t picked up Installs since July 1st 5:08pm GMT- was the platform down over the weekend?

We are missing 14 Installs that occurred post 1st July 5:08pm until today. Any help would be appreciated please :slightly_smiling_face:

We have Pipedream cycles to run every 5 minutes for Install events but as you can see here it hasn’t run in the last few days with no errors reported

Hi , would you mind sharing your source log? You can access Pipedream Source page, then select your Shopify Source

Hi - What’s the best way to share the full thing if needed? here’s a pic of what’s on there

Here’s a log error expanded

Hi , thanks for raising this issue. I can reproduce your issue!

I have created a new issue here and added it to prioritized backlog

Awesome! Thanks for doing that so quickly. I will await a resolution :slightly_smiling_face:

Hi ! I’m facing the same issue, with no events since July 1st. My workflows use as trigger the New App Relationship Events. Could you please add it to the issue/create one for this use case as well?

cc FYI

Hi all, this issue is related to a Shopify API version deprecation - I’ve bumped the webhook API version to account for the change. Can you confirm if installs are coming in properly moving forward?

Will keep you posted when a new install occurs, in the test events it’s not showing ones that occurred over the weekend although it is showing them as being recognised in the logs. Can we back populate the missed ones from the weekend or is that not a option?

Cheers all for the resolution :slightly_smiling_face:

Hi , I have confirmed that the source is still facing the issue. The ticket has been added to the prioritized backlog so our component dev will take a look at it soon

Hi , @U05FAG4REN7, we’ve shipped the fix to the source. Can you please remove the Shopify source you were using from your workflow in the Workflow Builder, and re-add it, so that the changes are picked up? This should resolve the issue.

Thanks I tried doing exactly that a few hours before to see if that helped. Now that you mentioned this I checked and it has been picking up events since I re-added it. Thanks a lot!!

Thanks for confirming, Erick!
