Why Do Scheduled Workflows Sometimes Miss Executions?

Why do workflows that run on a schedule sometimes miss executions? For example, I have some workflows that are meant to run daily, but every now and then one of them skips a day.

I apologize for any inconvenience caused by missed workflow executions. There could be a variety of reasons for this, such as temporary issues with the scheduler or other platform-related factors. To better understand the issue, I would recommend checking the workflow logs for any errors or unusual behavior. When a workflow that runs on a schedule misses an execution, there are no logs to look at. There is just a gap (e.g. I can see the logs present for 3 days ago, 2 days ago, and not yesterdays).

we’re tracking this bug here in case you want to subscribe for updates

Cheers , appreciate the response. I was just wondering if it was something on my end - not crucial :+1:

Also, I want to add that the duplicate issue has been occurring for me as well on Daily schedules. E.g. misses execution at 4pm on Monday, then executes twice at 4pm on Tuesday

Yep that’s the exact bug some others have come across that we’re investigating
