Why Can't Long-Time Users Access New Features in their Current Plan?

As a long time user and embracer of the service I just spent 2 to 3 hours setting up a new workflow using the brand new if/else functionality just to be faced with a “Your current plan doesn’t include access to logical branching.” and can’t save the progress. What a sad way to give up on the platform when new features are advertised and encouraged on users to not even allow usage.
