Why am I getting a "Runtime Quota Exceeded" error?

Hope someone here can help. I’m not very familiar with Pipedream, but I’ve been trying to create a workflow following the instructions of this article by Thomas Frank:

I’m using the method involving Google Drive. Every time I upload a file to a particular folder, it should trigger the workflow.

I know I set up the workflow correctly because the test file I was working with yesterday created a transcript, then uploaded the result to Notion.

I was only using a 3 minute clip for testing purposes.

However, since then I’ve been getting a “Runtime Quota Exceeded” error. I thought I’d be able to play around with this and see how it’s working for me on the free tier? I don’t want to jump into a paid plan until I’m able to know that this will be worth it for me.

Again, I haven’t done anything today, and I thought you get more credits each day?

Is there a reason I’m unable to run my workflow on the free plan?

I really appreciate the help.

Hi @jrodefeld,

I apologize for the confusion you’re experiencing. On the free tier, you do get a daily quota of 10,000 credits. However, it’s possible that the workflow you’re running is consuming more credits than you expect, causing you to exceed the daily quota.

To better understand the issue, I would need more information about your workflow and the specific steps that might be causing the “Runtime Quota Exceeded” error. If you could provide more details about the workflow or the steps involved, I can help you identify the possible cause and suggest a solution.
