Hi , what’s new in the latest preview?
I’m sorry, but I don’t have access to the latest updates or previews for Pipedream. I recommend checking the Pipedream Changelog for the most recent updates and features. If you have any specific questions or need further assistance, feel free to ask!
OpenAI is notoriously bad about answering questions about itself!
can you tell us more about the latest OpenAI o1 model (the model you’re running)?
I’m sorry, but I don’t have specific information about the latest OpenAI o1 model or any updates beyond October 2023. For the most accurate and up-to-date information about OpenAI models, I recommend checking OpenAI’s official website or their blog. If you have any questions about using OpenAI with Pipedream, feel free to ask!
Ah the o1 model doesn’t search the internet
Is that something the previous version did while using Pi?
I’m not sure actually
No, the model served via the API doesn’t. ChatGPT will if you use the search functionality
This is likely to come with future updates though
I have a premium subscription to ChatGPT and I use that quite a bit
I find ChatGPT is definitely helpful
We could do a better job searching the internet for up-to-date info and passing it to Pi, though! We do that with our docs and blog posts but not general queries
I also love using the AI functionality in Pipedream
Nice! Btw would you prefer inline AI like GitHub co-pilot, directly in the editor? Or is the current code gen UI OK with you? We’d like to make some improvements to that so curious if you have any other feedback
I’m not sure. For now the current methodology has been more than adequate. I will let you know if I think of any improvements.
Sometimes I use the AI functionality to get some ideas on how to accomplish something and then I copy/paste the bits that I need. The code selection window always jumps if I want to only highlight a small selection of the generated code, so that has been annoying.
Thanks will look into that last issue
Exact same issue here in regard to copy pasting small bits of code.
Most of the time I use it to generate props (not code), because I’m too lazy to look at the doc.
Although it often gets the slug wrong for certain apps. Like it’s trying to guess what the slug should be, instead of looking up what it actually is.
But at least it’s easy to find the proper slug in the explore page (at the bottom, just below “Authentication”).
Yes, it does the same thing for me when I’m trying to use the Salesforce Rest API.
gotcha will take a look at that too
