What is the User Limit and Pricing Model for Pipedream Connect at Scale?

This topic was automatically generated from Slack. You can find the original thread here.

hello everyone!

quick question: how far could pipedream connect be leveraged and what is pricing like at scale? we are curious to know if we can use it for our platform. pretty much:
• initial cap is 1000 users but how far could this eventually be taken? infinite?
• pricing model? how does this work at scale?

There’s no upper limit for how far you can scale it, we have companies using Connect in production at scale today.

Pricing depends on your use case and how many users you envision connecting, I recommend you reach out to our sales team to chat, so they can learn more about your use case. Check out the contact us button on pipedream.com/pricing

Thanks for the response.

I did reach out to sales team then I was redirected to you (I believe) who redirected me here. Is this just going to be an endless loop?

Wait, really? Sorry about that, who’d you talk to on our sales team?

I cannot remember. I think it was sales, but it may have just been you reaching out after I signed up. I was redirected to Slack by you to learn more.

Oh, yes I see now, thanks and sorry for the run around. Check out this section of our docs: GitHub

• If you want to use Pipedream solely to store your users’ auth and retrieve their credentials via API, you can do that for free for up to 1000 users. You’ll need to make sure to configure your own OAuth clients for whatever OAuth apps you’d like to integrate. That’s the first bullet in those docs.
• If you want to use Pipedream’s OAuth clients and / or invoke workflows in Pipedream or access any of our prebuilt triggers and actions via API, or proxy requests so you can avoid dealing with auth tokens altogether, you can test all of that end to end in development mode and when you’re ready to ship to production, you’ll need to be on a paid plan (the pricing details just depend on how many users you intend to support and your core use case).

No worries! Thanks for the response
And so what about compute, is that just consistent with the rest of the pricing? (e.g. Use user credentials → trigger workflows / criteria check requests)

Yea if you’re running Pipedream workflows, the same compute and usage billing applies Pricing - Pipedream

Awesome thanks.
