What Is Causing My Workflow to Trigger Every Hour Instead of Every 12 Hours?

Hello, I have a workflow that I’ve set to only trigger every 12 hours, yet it’s executing (sending a discord message) on an hourly basis. What am I missing / doing wrong?

Hello , may I confirm that you’re using the Notion trigger - New Page in Database right?

Could you share your workflow url? Maybe @U02SX7ETBFB can help to check in this case

I’m using the “updated page in database” trigger. I’ve actually noticed a similar error with other workflows using the same setup so hopefully this will be a solution for all. Here’s the url (https://pipedream.com/@yanivpat/amz-prepit-reminder-p_YyCBVQg/build)

Can you share your event history on the deployed workflow? You can limit the screenshot to just include the timestamps.

Oddly enough it’s empty right now, no events have been logged. Maybe it was just a glitch? It fired multiple times every 30 minutes for about 5 times after it was deployed last night, and then stopped once I reached my daily compute time. Maybe I can check back in once the limit resets.

Can you confirm that the timer on the trigger is what will determine how often the workflow will execute?

Yes that’s correct the timer should trigger at the interval you specify. Please let us know if it happens again. Screenshots are helpful, as well as the individual event IDs that appear in your URL when you have selected the event in your workflow history.

Got it. Thank you! Will follow up on this thread if the issue persists.
