Is anyone else not seeing all of the models from OpenAI for the Chat GPT? I’m paying for the GPT-4 but I don’t see it in the drop down list with the predefined module.
@mike GPT-4 via a Plus subscription doesn’t automatically grant you access to the gpt-4 model via API. You’ll need to sign up for the waitlist to get access to that.
Let me know if that helps!
Hi @mike,
I’m sorry for any confusion. To use the OpenAI ChatGPT in Pipedream, you can follow these steps:
- Search for the OpenAI (ChatGPT) app from the step menu.
- Select the Chat action.
- Connect your OpenAI (ChatGPT) account.
- Select a Model or pass a string from a previous step.
- Select a User Message or pass a string from a previous step.
- At the bottom of the step, click Test to run the action and test the configuration.
Please make sure you’ve connected your OpenAI account with the appropriate access to GPT-4. If you still don’t see the GPT-4 model in the dropdown list, I recommend reaching out to Pipedream support at https://pipedream.com/support for further assistance.

@dylburger I have a OpenAI subscription and use GPT-4 daily, but it’s not showing in the list of options (even after Load More) when trying to use the Chat step.

@dylburger ah ok, thanks. Although it appears they removed the waitlist and gave access to users who have paid at least $1 from API usage. My largest consumption was a whopping $01.2 so far, so no access. But it looks like they plan to roll it out to all devs soon.
