How Can Pipedream Connect Resolve the Regression in Its Embedded Auth UI's CSS and Improve SDK's Theme and Backdrop Options?

This topic was automatically generated from Slack. You can find the original thread here.

We found a regression in Pipedream Connect’s embedded auth UI. The hosted Connect CSS deployed June 12 now applies a 75% black backdrop plus blur and grayscale across the full-page iframe, so it no longer feels transparent or native. The latest SDK 3.1.0 exposes no supported theme, backdrop, container, or CSS option. The hosted app recognizes dark and auto themes, but the backdrop remains unconditional and the SDK does not expose those parameters. Parent-side cropping looked sloppy, and cross-origin CSS prevents a proper customer fix. Could you restore the previous lighter treatment or expose supported theme and backdrop options such as transparent, dim, and blur? Happy to share our Runable repro.

Can you share more info on the previous behavior you described and how to repro? I don’t think we shipped this on June 12 as you mentioned
