How Can I Integrate ServiceTitan into My App Using Pipedream and Manage Event Webhooks?

This topic was automatically generated from Slack. You can find the original thread here.

I’m interested in creating an integration of my app to servicetitan using pipedream.

one of the things im looking for is the ability to receive event webhooks from service titan for specific events (ie, job created, job updated, etc)

to do that with servicetitan you have to have an “app” approved with servicetitan

which im assuming in this case would be pipedream

based on pipedream’s layout im guessing event webhooks from service titan would fall under “triggers” in pipedream. but there are no listed ‘triggers’ for servicetitan in pipedream.

Am I SOL with pipedream? Do i need to create my own “app” with servicetitan to manage webhooks, or is there a way to manage these within pipedream? is pipedream planning a webhook setup?

is there someone I can talk to at pipedream about this? (we have multiple potential integrations with the same issue, and id like to if possible consolidate our applications integrations to run through pipedream).

It wasn’t clear if the webhook can be created/configured via API, since it tells you to configure it via their UI

But from my understanding it can be any URL

So you can create a simple HTTP trigger and use it

But you can request specific actions or triggers for our team to develop

  1. Head over to Support - Pipedream
  2. Click on the “Request an Integration” card.
  3. Select “B - Request changes to an existing integration.”
  4. Fill out the form with details of the issue.
This way, it gets logged in our public repo, and the component development team can be notified!
