Free tier 'connected accounts' cap nerfed?

I love Pipedream. One reason was that the possibilities were mainly all behind high pricing tiers.

Services should be paid for if valued - absolutely

I just created a new workflow for something but I got an error when trying to deploy: Upgrade to deploy. Your account has reached the maximum number of connected accounts.

So I delete a couple that I wasn’t using and I still cannot deploy.

I check out the tier caps and it turns out I can only have max 3. Before I deleted, I had ~ 11. After I deleted, I had left all the connected accounts that were being used by deployed workflows: ~ 8.

How could I have ~ 11 connected accounts, never paid, but the cap when I look today is 3??

Did the cap get nerfed? Did pipedream succumb to the allure of The Bag and became less useful because of it, like Zapier?

Or am I misunderstanding?

Hi @dh27,

I apologize for any confusion. The Free tier of Pipedream allows for up to 3 connected accounts. It’s possible that the limits might have changed since you initially created your workflows. I recommend visiting https://pipedream.com/pricing to review the current limits and consider upgrading to a paid plan if you need more connected accounts or other features.

This is the reason I’m asking this here; I do not know if they changed.

Maybe they got changed with the whole workspace-for-biz addition to pipedream. Chasing the corpo cash.
