Does Open AI's integration make Pipedream plugins directly usable in Chat GPT Plus version?

Open AI / Chat GPT plus version now how a load of plug ins. From Pipedream would you have to integrate with them directly or does your Open AI integration mean they are usable?

Pipedream has an OpenAI integration that allows you to interact with the OpenAI API directly. You can use the available OpenAI components in Pipedream to work with the API without having to integrate with each plugin separately. To use these components, search for “OpenAI” in the Pipedream UI and select the relevant component for your needs. If you need a specific integration that’s not available in Pipedream, you can submit a new integration request at New Pipedream Integration Request.

There’s a plugin called Key Mate AI search. This allows chat gpt to search the web.

Is there a simple way to utilise this function?

Hi , I believe you’ll need to install the plugin on Open AI UI first, then use the Open AI action on Pipedream

If i already have the plug in installed to my Chat gpt interface… When i use pipedream open ai step, will it utilise the plugins i have installed?

the plugin will be utilised when you use Pipedream Open AI action

Can i request a call with someone?

Hi could you clarify what you mean?

ohh, i’d like to speak with a pipedream client success rep on the phone

if you’re on Business or Enterprise plan, you’ll be added to a dedicated Slack support channel.

Or if you’d like to hire a Pipedream expert for your usecase, feel free to use this link: Connect with a Pipedream Partner

plugins aren’t available via the OpenAI API - this is a restriction on OpenAI’s side

oh shoot, sorry bing chat failed me :disappointed:

That may change in the future, and if it does, we’d adjust the OpenAI actions on Pipedream to support that

Hahah no worries guys - i’m looking for a work around as we speak.

My current thinking is to use the prompt function in pipedream. Take the output as my input to query another API which searches the web

Not sure if that made sense

It does! Are you familiar with https://openai.com/blog/function-calling-and-other-api-updates ?

That is the way I would do this

Thanks! I’ll take a look. I’m also considering booking some time with an expert on the above link who could probably solve a lot of these issues in seconds
