Discord Webhooks Avatar

A relatively recent Discord change now prevents bots from obtaining tokens of webhooks they have not created. This also prevents normal users from changing the name and avatars of other webhooks, including ones created over oauth.

Is there a way to edit that using pipedream (since the webhook was created via pipedream and thus only pipedream has access to the token/identity)?

Ah interesting. So to confirm, are you looking for an action that enables you to modify webhooks?

Kinda yes, since I wanted to have a different name and logo than the pipedream avatar and username

To confirm, you can also set the username and avatar using the Send Message Discord action within your workflow – have you tried that?

Oh, my bad. I genuinely totally missed these two settings, it works now, thanks a lot! :+1:
