Discord Bot Hanging During API Request: Possible Causes?

Hello, I’m having an issue using the discord bot in my workflows. It was working perfectly fine for a few days but now it just hangs whenever I attempt to test a simple request to the discord bot API. I’ve authenticated multiple bot accounts to verify that it’s not an issue with my Discord bot. Any ideas what could be going on?

Hm that’s really strange, I’m able to create it without any issues. Are you using a browser like Brave? Could you disable adblock on *.[pipedream.com](http://pipedream.com) temporarily and try again?

No problem, take your time. No saving requires the step to be tested, and I haven’t tested it. But I was able to instantiate it.

Oh that’s where I was having the problem, while “testing” the step it just hangs.

I’m on Chrome and don’t have any extensions enabled

Interesting. I just tried to create a new workflow using a webhook and when I try to generate a test event I get an error Failed to fetch with the following error in the console.
