Did the Shopify Access Change Cause an Increase in Apps and Issues with Update Metafields Function?

Did the shopify access change? There used to be 2 apps and now there’s 3? one of which is beta? I’m having trouble with the update metafields function. I keep getting errors:

, I can reproduce your issue. I’ll create a ticket and add it to the priority backlog.

And you should use Shopify (OAuth) app.

Here’s the ticket: [BUG] Shopify (OAuth) - Update Metafield action failed · Issue #14071 · PipedreamHQ/pipedream · GitHub

I believe that issue is likely due to a scopes issue, right?

since that app lets you configure your own OAuth app and define the scopes, I think we aren’t able to fetch the metafields due to lacking scopes, right?

Oh, hm. Is that an account you connected a while back, Mark?

Yeah it seems like the names of the apps changed? There used to be 2 apps. One was broken (no longer had shopify permission) and the other was shopify Partners (I think). When I went to use it last week a 3rd app had been added (shopify Oauth) and it seemed to have saved login data from my old “shopify” app. Neither Shopify Oauth or Shopify Partners would fetch the metafields. Shopify Partners definitely has all the scopes needed to do it. I didnt check the Oauth scopes.
