Can the Pipedream Connect authentication dialog be white-labeled to avoid confusion among customers?

Question: for the Pipedream Connect authentication, is it possible to white-label the auth dialog so it doesn’t say “Pipedream”? Just concerned that it might be a blocker for some customers - they already have to deal with trusting a third-party app (i.e. mine), and seeing that they have to give authorization to some other “Pipedream” app which thy don’t know about might be a bridge too far for some.

Not currently. You can use your own OAuth clients so that it’s your app requesting access on the authorization popup, but the initial screen will still mention Pipedream as the auth provider. In this context you can think of Pipedream similarly to Plaid, but for API integrations.

We’ve actually heard from some customers that it helps to lend credibility to their app and validates that their credentials are secure, given all the work we’ve done on our end to implement best practices, SOC 2 Type 2 compliance, etc.
