Can Pipedream Explain Changes to Plans and Removal of Features from Grandfathered Plan?

This topic was automatically generated from Slack. You can find the original thread here.

Hey Pipedream team

Can we have a bit of a conversion around how the plans keep on changing? while we get grandfathered, it removes some features and not others (for example premium apps now).

The upgrade path, costs more and pretty much is less than what was the previous grandfather plan (ie: no github sync, less computes and costs more), I woudlnt even need to migrate if the apps that were avaliable in the “grandfathered” plan where still there.

I get updates, etc (I really do)

but its really impossible decisions with little logic. for example, the latest grandfathered > new options is kind of like this:
• Get my apps back that i had originally
• Lose Github Access
• Get Less Computers
• Pay more

I guess also, how can I rely on pipedream with app integrations? I have quickbooks for example and now I don’t have access to it but I have a flows for it that I have spent time to build.

The only solution i see is effectively not using piepdream apps at all or pipedream leaving apps in the plan with the plan

Hey , can you not access premium apps? I looked into your workspace and it should have access to premium apps

What’s the workspace name? I may have looked at another one

quicksync and chameleonbrands

I get this.

or this.

Oh, that just means that we don’t have any built-in quickbooks triggers

You should be able to use quickbooks actions or custom code

If you want to submit a trigger request for quickbooks, please do so in Support - Pipedream → Request an integration → Request changes to an existing integration

Thanks for digging in, . @U048ZTKD6MB let us know if you’re good to go, seems like there was just confusion in the UI, but that’s great feedback that what you were seeing was not obvious.

@U02A06JPKEH

It seems to be back, but I swear it wasn’t a trigger it was a action that wasn’t working but was a day ago (even thought the screenshot was trigger). thanks for looking into it.

I guess the plan grandfathering isn’t going to be addressed or resolved, probably means that we will need to look what where this fits in i guess.

To confirm, when we migrated the older legacy accounts on to the current plans, we made sure that you got to keep a lot of the features you were already using, even if they’re no longer included in the current version of the plan. I’ll DM you some of the details now, based on what I’m seeing for your accounts.

Sure but like, my plan doubled in cost and i lost 100k worth of credits.

Just sent you a DM
