Can I Update the Outdated "How to Get the API Key" Instructions on PipedreamHQ's GitHub?

This topic was automatically generated from Slack. You can find the original thread here.

it seems a lot of the “how to get the api key” instructions are out of date, as those apps change things around. presumably i can update a few of those with a pr? would they be in GitHub - PipedreamHQ/pipedream: Connect APIs, remarkably fast. Free for developers. · GitHub?

Can you let us know which ones? Unfortunately that part of the application is not in the public repo.

Yep! Here’s the 2 so far:

Copper CRM - no pipedream instructions
To connect Copper, you’ll need an API key. Here’s how to generate one:
Click on your profile in Copper
Click Preferences
Open the Integrations tab

  1. Click API Keys
  2. Click ‘Generate API Key’
Granola - incorrect To connect Granola, you’ll need to make an API key. Here’s how to generate it:
    Go to Settings
  3. Go to the API tab (under Connectors)
  4. Click ‘Create new key’

Thank you! can you take a look at these updates?

Sure thing, I’ll take a look and update here

Copper and Granola have been changes. Can you please check those out and confirm they look good now? TYIA. Also, feel free to let us know if there is any new app you see missing instructions.

it’s great! ty yes will do

Posted thread to Discourse: Can I Update Outdated API Key Instructions on PipedreamHQ's GitHub?

hey , i think Copper CRM has added OAuth: Overview - Copper Developer API

is it possible to switch over to that from the API key?

Also sorry I noticed a typo in the Copper instructions (“emai”):

Copper requires their users enter their Copper emai in order to connect to their API. For more info, refer to Copper’s documentation

Thanks for pinging , I’ve flaged your request in [APP] Copper CRM (Oauth 2.0 based) · Issue #20691 · PipedreamHQ/pipedream · GitHub, feel free to follow there

Fixed typo as well

great ty
