Best Way to Transfer Workflow from My Account to Client's Account with Workspace Access?

What’s the best way to transfer a workflow I’ve created in my account to my client’s account? They’ve given me access to a workspace of theirs.

If you need to only transfer a single workflow, I suggest creating a share link for that particular workflow. Here’s how you can do that: Sharing Workflows

If you need to transfer all workflows from your workspace to your clients workspace, you can email support@pipedream.com to initiate that process.

Thanks, just one.

Also, when we set the workflow live, do we only get notifications about errors on the $99 / mo plan?

Sure thing, no you will receive email alerts on errors. But you can also leverage the $errors channel to customize this behavior as well:

With the $99 plan though we can get Slack notifications of errors without any extra effort other than clicking a few settings, right?

That is correct, sorry I didn’t realize you were referring to Slack in particular

Cool. Slack is probably better because emails will just get overlooked or not seen quickly enough.

With the workflow sharing - can I use the URL myself and then install the workflow into the client’s workspace they have shared with me? Will that make them the owner, or will I still be the owner?

I’m thinking they need to be the owner so it’s under their account / billing profile etc

I suggest that you follow these steps:

  1. Under your workspace create a share link for the workflow
  2. Switch context to your client’s workspace
  3. Open the link to copy the workflow into your client’s workspace

If you’re not a member of your client’s workspace, simply sharing the link to allow them to open it will be the same result

Interestingly it missed off one of the prop values even though I ticked them all

Interesting - is it a special prop type?

Like a dropdown or secret?

It was the product ID field on this Shopify action

I’ve pasted in what the prop value should be

Is it possible that field is powered by a search on the connected Shopify account?

Err, what?

As far as I know, that Product ID field appears without any query to the API, but I think it only appears when you select Product ID from the list below under “Optional fields”

So maybe optional fields aren’t coming across
