Are Features of the Control Flow Preview Only Available in Newly Created Workflows?

Apologies if this has been asked and answered already, I couldn’t find it. Are features of the Control Flow preview only available in newly created workflows? When I go to edit an existing workflow I don’t see the if/else option.

Control Flow definitely works in existing workflows otherwise though!
