If it’s not one of the fields on that action, I’m not sure we do. Would you mind opening a feature request?
feature request submitted
I also added a comment to the feature request that I need to be able to make a setting to not comment on my own bots comments.
Do you know if this feature request is the type of request that could have a short turnaround like 1 month or should I be finding alternatives? I can’t wait a month and then have no results on my project. I know I am not a big customer atm so I’m not terribly important but I am paying a subscription.
generally we can get this stuff out within a few weeks! Hard to say because every integration is different, but we get through these pretty quickly. I understand the desire to get it working on your end, no issue if you need to find another solution right now! Keep following that issue for updates — we’ll post there
Awesome, thanks for your support! My company does lots of automation and I’m liking what I see so far so keep up the good work!
The team found an action that should work for what we need but now I am getting the 403 cannot authenticate error with no troubleshooting steps:
is there a good way for me to log a support ticket or anything? I think we are getting close to having this done.
Hi Klane, I’m not sure re: that last question. We’d have to look into that separately to see if the API supports it. any chance you have time to dig into this one? I am betting the 403 error above may be an issue re: scopes but it’s a new component, so I’m not sure if it’s something there or in the code.
Hi Klane, I’ll be looking into this and follow up on this thread with what I’m able to find.
It looks like Reddit revoked Pushshift’s Data API access within the past month. I’m looking into alternatives to see what we can do here.
Thanks Michael
when would be a good time for me to check in next?
Hey Klane, thanks for your patience. We’re still researching how to implement this as the functionality to search comments is not clearly documented via Reddit’s API docs. I will get back to you in the next day or so.
Hey , I just wanted to keep you up to date here. I’ve done some extensive research, and the ability to search for comments is not documented or generally available within Reddit’s publicly facing APIs. That being said, I’ve reached out to Reddit to learn more about how we might be able to access them, similar to the functionality that you shared with us that is available on Zapier. I don’t have an ETA as to if/when we will be able to do this ourselves, but I will keep you up to date as I hear back from the Reddit team.
My zap for this function is still working, I look forward to hearing your update.
The reddit team is notoriously slow and non responsive. Has there been any engagement ? It seems we are not going to be able to accomplish my objective using Pipedream. What is my next cutoff to cancel so that I don’t get billed for another cycle?
Hi Klane, you can see information on your billing cycle at https://pipedream.com/settings/billing
