I also have this problem, can’t ever click the “Update Project” button when using “Deploy key”.
I looked at the requests from the browser when clicking the test button and it responds with this message:

Thanks for sharing the error message. It means that the credentials are not setup correctly.
Could you please double check if your deploy key was correctly configured in your Github repository and that it has write access enabled?
I doubled checked this a million times now and does not work.
I’m sure it would work with OAuth but that app asks for too many permissions
