yes, we do fallback to that. I see one issue we can correct. I’ll update and push a fix that you can test
ok. what ill do is - disable posting to M, keep posting to T, i dont care about the bird site. do a quick post, and confirm it runs once. then re-enable M
i am heading out for the evening though - so no rush
I just shipped a new version that should better dedupe feed items. Try re-creating a new version of the event source. In the workflow, Edit, select the … at the top-right of the trigger menu and select Add New Trigger, then add a new RSS trigger. That will emit the last 10 events by default, but should not trigger the workflow. Remove the original RSS source, then deploy the workflow, and it should only run on new items from now on.
Let me know if you see any issues with the new source - happy to look more into it.
fixing to test, thank you
some UI issues - i did what you said, im now seeing this:
the blank square seems like a bug
also - im here because i clicked back in the source, i had assumed it was adding it
yeah that was a mistake - i should have hit create source i think
ok - so i screwed something up. i see my new source in Sources. but i cant pick it from the add trigger UI. so i guess i’ll make it again
why the 3 boxes on top?
i deleted the original source, the one i made a few mins ago, and i think im ok. although i still see 2 boxes on top. its possible i never noticed that before and didnt realize workflows could have N sources
going to test with Mastodon turned off
Sadly, I think I messed something up. The workflow shows as active. I blogged and got the build notification 16 minutes ago. Source should run every 15 mins. No go.
the second, empty box is highlighted.
not sure if that matters
ahah, feed error. grr. one sec
