Hi , I am working with David in integration the Google Chat API in a Pipedream workflow.
I have tried the new Google Chat (Developer App) prebuilt action the you recently added.
I was able to follow the documentation and successfully connected the google app in the pipedream workflow. However, it seems that the Google Chat API endpoints don’t work on this one. When I try to make an API request (e.g. get the list of google spaces) I would a 404 response.
I was only able to make it work in pulling the information of the connect account or google app.
Also, according to the docs, I should be seeing this when connecting the app since my google app is not published:
Hi Louieje, I see the source of the issue. There are a few more steps required to enable the chat application; let me update the instructions and I will follow up on this thread.
, I’ve just published the updates to the documentation - apologies as it wasn’t as clear before!
Two changes;
1 - Making the app Internal
2 - There is a new section around configuring your Google Chat application that is a final step in enabling the app in Google Cloud.
