That’s the issue hence we are having to make a decision and may just have to build our own tech stack
One thing I’d say is that the development experience in Pipedream is pretty nice, so that may allow you to iterate faster at first (and then port to a different platform later). Which is important for a startup, because speed matters.
But if you invest in your tech stack and dev tools/processes, you could probably become just as productive eventually. Which is probably a good idea for your core value offering anyway.
Something like AWS Lambda + Serverless Framework (or one of the many alternatives) would probably offer the best pricing.
If you want to put some kind of event gateway in front of your service, hookdeck has pretty decent pricing.
But of course, it’s just an event gateway. Not a full development platform like Pipedream.
