Getting Started

This integration creates a workflow with a OpenAI (ChatGPT) trigger and Google reCAPTCHA action. When you configure and deploy the workflow, it will run on Pipedream's servers 24x7 for free.

  1. Select this integration
  2. Configure the New Run State Changed trigger
    1. Connect your OpenAI (ChatGPT) account
    2. Configure timer
    3. Configure Thread ID
  3. Configure the Validate reCAPTCHA Response action
    1. Connect your Google reCAPTCHA account
    2. Optional- Configure Remote IP Address
    3. Configure Token
  4. Deploy the workflow
  5. Send a test event to validate your setup
  6. Turn on the trigger

Details

This integration uses pre-built, source-available components from Pipedream's GitHub repo. These components are developed by Pipedream and the community, and verified and maintained by Pipedream.

To contribute an update to an existing component or create a new component, create a PR on GitHub. If you're new to Pipedream component development, you can start with quickstarts for trigger span and action development, and then review the component API reference.

OpenAI (ChatGPT) Overview

OpenAI provides a suite of powerful AI models through its API, enabling developers to integrate advanced natural language processing and generative capabilities into their applications. Here’s an overview of the services offered by OpenAI's API:

Use Python or Node.js code to make fully authenticated API requests with your OpenAI account:

The unique identifier for the thread. Example: thread_abc123. To locate the thread ID, make sure your OpenAI Threads setting (Settings -> Organization/Personal -> General -> Features and capabilities -> Threads) is set to "Visible to organization owners" or "Visible to everyone". You can then access the list of threads and click on individual threads to reveal their IDs

Action

Description:Validate a Google reCAPTCHA request (v2 or v3). [See docs here](https://developers.google.com/recaptcha/docs/verify)
Version:0.0.1
Key:google_recaptcha-validate-recaptcha

Google reCAPTCHA Overview

Google reCAPTCHA API helps you detect abusive traffic on your website without any user friction. It does this by presenting CAPTCHA challenges to users they need to solve before submitting forms, ensuring these actions are not generated by bots. The API returns a score, helping you decide what action to take for your website: for instance, you might require further verification for low-scoring users. With Pipedream's ability to integrate with various APIs, you can create custom workflows that trigger upon the result of a reCAPTCHA verification, streamlining both security and user experience.

Action Code

import googleRecaptcha from "../../app/google_recaptcha.app.mjs";
import { defineAction } from "@pipedream/types";
export default defineAction({
    name: "Validate reCAPTCHA Response",
    version: "0.0.1",
    key: "google_recaptcha-validate-recaptcha",
    description: "Validate a Google reCAPTCHA request (v2 or v3). [See docs here](https://developers.google.com/recaptcha/docs/verify)",
    props: {
        googleRecaptcha,
        remote_ip: {
            type: "string",
            label: "Remote IP Address",
            description: "The IP Address originating the request. This whould be the user IP where the challenge was executed on the frontend.",
            default: "{{steps.trigger.event.client_ip}}",
            optional: true,
        },
        token: {
            type: "string",
            label: "Token",
            description: "The reCAPTCHA response token to validate. This is the response when the challenge is executed on the frontend.",
        },
    },
    type: "action",
    methods: {},
    async run({ $ }) {
        const response = await this.googleRecaptcha.validateRecaptcha({
            $,
            params: {
                response: this.token,
                remoteip: this.remote_ip,
            },
        });
        $.export("$summary", "reCAPTCHA validation request has been sent.");
        return response;
    },
});

Action Configuration
