Details

This integration uses pre-built, source-available components from Pipedream's GitHub repo. These components are developed by Pipedream and the community, and verified and maintained by Pipedream.

To contribute an update to an existing component or create a new component, create a PR on GitHub. If you're new to Pipedream component development, you can start with quickstarts for trigger span and action development, and then review the component API reference.

Trigger

Description:Emit new event when a Google Calendar event is created that matches a search
Version:0.1.7
Key:google_calendar-new-event-search

Google Calendar Overview

The Google Calendar API gives developers access to Google Calendar data,
allowing them to create their own applications that can read, write, and update
calendar data. With the API, users can integrate their own calendar
applications with Google Calendar, giving them the ability to manage their
calendars in one place. The API also provides the ability to search for events
and create new events.

Possible applications that could be built using the Google Calendar API
include:

  • A calendar application that integrates with Google Calendar, allowing users
    to manage their calendars in one place.
  • A calendar application that allows users to search for events and create new
    events.
  • A to-do list application that integrates with Google Calendar, allowing users
    to see their tasks and events in one place.
  • A reminder application that uses Google Calendar data to remind users of
    upcoming events.

Trigger Code

import common from "../common/common.mjs";

    },

        orderBy: "startTime",
      };

      const created = new Date(event.created);
      // created in last 5 mins and not cancelled
      return created > past && event.status !== "cancelled";
    },
  },
};

Trigger Authentication

Google Calendar uses OAuth authentication. When you connect your Google Calendar account, Pipedream will open a popup window where you can sign into Google Calendar and grant Pipedream permission to connect to your account. Pipedream securely stores and automatically refreshes the OAuth tokens so you can easily authenticate any Google Calendar API.

Pipedream requests the following authorization scopes when you connect your account:

emailprofilehttps://www.googleapis.com/auth/calendar.eventshttps://www.googleapis.com/auth/calendar.readonlyhttps://www.googleapis.com/auth/calendar.settings.readonly

Action Configuration

This component may be configured based on the props defined in the component code. Pipedream automatically prompts for input values in the UI.

LabelPropTypeDescription
TwiliotwilioappThis component uses the Twilio app.
FromfromstringSelect a value from the drop down menu.
Totostring

The destination phone number in E.164 format. Format with a + and country code (e.g., +16175551212).

Texttextstring

The text you'd like Twilio to speak to the user when they pick up the phone.

Action Authentication

Twilio uses API keys for authentication. When you connect your Twilio account, Pipedream securely stores the keys so you can easily authenticate to Twilio APIs in both code and no-code steps.

To connect your Twilio account to Pipedream,

API Key and API Key SID

First, create an API key in Twilio.

  • There are three types of keys: Main, Standard, and Restricted. You'll need a Main key to interact with certain API endpoints, like /Accounts.
  • If you don't need to interact with those endpoints, you can use a Standard or Restricted key.

After creating your key, you'll see fields for Sid and Secret. Enter those in the fields below.

Account SID and Auth Token

Visit your Twilio Dashboard. You'll see your Account SID and Auth Token under Account info.
