Getting Started

This integration creates a workflow with a Spotify trigger and Threads action. When you configure and deploy the workflow, it will run on Pipedream's servers 24x7 for free.

  2. Configure the New Track in Playlist trigger
    1. Connect your Spotify account
    2. Configure Polling interval
    3. Select one or more Playlist IDs
  3. Configure the Delete a Thread action
    1. Connect your Threads account
    2. Configure Thread ID
  4. Deploy the workflow
  5. Send a test event to validate your setup
  6. Turn on the trigger

Trigger Authentication

Spotify uses OAuth authentication. When you connect your Spotify account, Pipedream will open a popup window where you can sign into Spotify and grant Pipedream permission to connect to your account. Pipedream securely stores and automatically refreshes the OAuth tokens so you can easily authenticate any Spotify API.

Pipedream requests the following authorization scopes when you connect your account:

Action Authentication

Threads uses API keys for authentication. When you connect your Threads account, Pipedream securely stores the keys so you can easily authenticate to Threads APIs in both code and no-code steps.

You can create a new API key and find your existing keys at https://trythreads.com/apiKeys

When you create a new API key, we create a new Bot user for the key. The Bot user has the same posting privileges as any member in your organization.
