Details

This integration uses pre-built, source-available components from Pipedream's GitHub repo. These components are developed by Pipedream and the community, and verified and maintained by Pipedream.

To contribute an update to an existing component or create a new component, create a PR on GitHub. If you're new to Pipedream component development, you can start with quickstarts for trigger span and action development, and then review the component API reference.

Trigger

Description:Emit new event when an attendee registers for an event
Version:0.0.5
Key:eventbrite-new-attendee-registered

Eventbrite Overview

The Eventbrite API offers a powerful way to create, manage, and attend events programmatically. With Pipedream, you can leverage this API to automate a swath of tasks such as syncing attendee data, updating events in real-time, and connecting Eventbrite to other apps to streamline event workflows. By employing Pipedream's serverless platform, you can engineer intricate automations that respond to event triggers (like new event creation or ticket purchase) and conduct actions across your software stack without writing extensive code.

Trigger Code

import common from "../common/webhook.mjs";

export default {
  ...common,
  key: "eventbrite-new-attendee-registered",
  name: "New Attendee Registered (Instant)",
  description: "Emit new event when an attendee registers for an event",
  version: "0.0.5",
  dedupe: "unique",
  type: "source",
  methods: {
    ...common.methods,
    getActions() {
      return "order.placed";
    },
    async getData(order) {
      const {
        id: orderId, event_id: eventId,
      } = order;
      const attendeeStream = await this.resourceStream(
        this.eventbrite.getOrderAttendees.bind(this),
        "attendees",
        orderId,
      );
      const attendees = [];
      for await (const attendee of attendeeStream) {
        attendees.push(attendee);
      }
      const event = await this.eventbrite.getEvent(null, eventId, {
        expand: "ticket_classes",
      });

};

Trigger Configuration

This component may be configured based on the props defined in the component code. Pipedream automatically prompts for input values in the UI and CLI.
LabelPropTypeDescription

N/Adb$.service.dbThis component uses $.service.db to maintain state between executions.

N/Ahttp$.interface.httpThis component uses $.interface.http to generate a unique URL when the component is first instantiated. Each request to the URL will trigger the run() method of the component.

Trigger Authentication

Eventbrite uses OAuth authentication. When you connect your Eventbrite account, Pipedream will open a popup window where you can sign into Eventbrite and grant Pipedream permission to connect to your account. Pipedream securely stores and automatically refreshes the OAuth tokens so you can easily authenticate any Eventbrite API.

Pipedream requests the following authorization scopes when you connect your account:
