Getting Started

This integration creates a workflow with a Azure DevOps trigger and Project Broadcast action. When you configure and deploy the workflow, it will run on Pipedream's servers 24x7 for free.

    1. Connect your Azure DevOps account
    2. Select a Organization
    3. Select a Event Type
  3. Configure the Broadcast Message action
    1. Connect your Project Broadcast account
    2. Optional- Configure Scheduled At
    3. Configure Message Text
    4. Select one or more Contacts
  4. Deploy the workflow
  5. Send a test event to validate your setup
  6. Turn on the trigger

Trigger Authentication

Azure DevOps uses OAuth authentication. When you connect your Azure DevOps account, Pipedream will open a popup window where you can sign into Azure DevOps and grant Pipedream permission to connect to your account. Pipedream securely stores and automatically refreshes the OAuth tokens so you can easily authenticate any Azure DevOps API.

Pipedream requests the following authorization scopes when you connect your account:

Action Authentication

Project Broadcast uses API keys for authentication. When you connect your Project Broadcast account, Pipedream securely stores the keys so you can easily authenticate to Project Broadcast APIs in both code and no-code steps.

To retrieve your API Key,

  • Navigate to your Project Broadcast account and sign in
  • Click the “More” menu with the three horizontal lines glyph on the left navitation
  • Go to “ACCOUNT” > “Get Api Key”
