# Connect ChatGPT

> Add Conduit as an app in ChatGPT.

Your ChatGPT account and organization must allow custom apps. Your admin may
have already added Conduit; check your available apps first.

1. Open Conduit and copy your server URL from **Home**.
2. In ChatGPT on the web, enable **Developer mode** under
   **Settings → Security and login**.
3. Open **Plugins**, select **+**, and create an app named **Conduit**
   using your server URL and OAuth authentication.
4. Complete the Conduit sign-in and approval.
5. In a conversation, select Conduit from the **Developer mode** tool
   in the **+** menu.

Enable an app on Conduit's **Connectors** page, then ask ChatGPT to use it.
Review any requested action before approving it.
