| `taxId` | `string` | No | ID of the tax to be associated to the item. Options are loaded from the connected account. |
| `taxPercentage` | `string` | No | Percent of the tax. |
| `sku` | `string` | No | SKU value of item,should be unique throughout the product |
| `productType` | `string` | No | Specify the type of an item. |
| `hsnOrSac` | `string` | No | HSN Code. |
| `isTaxable` | `boolean` | No | Boolean to track the taxability of the item. |
| `taxExemptionId` | `string` | No | ID of the tax exemption. Mandatory, if is_taxable is false. |
| `accountId` | `string` | No | ID of the account to which the item has to be associated with. Options are loaded from the connected account. |
| `itemType` | `string` | No | Type of the item. Default value will be sales. |
| `purchaseDescription` | `string` | No | Purchase description for the item. |
| `purchaseRate` | `string` | No | Purchase price of the item. |
| `purchaseAccountId` | `string` | No | ID of the COGS account to which the item has to be associated with. Mandatory, if item_type is purchase / sales and purchase / inventory. |
| `inventoryAccountId` | `string` | No | ID of the stock account to which the item has to be associated with. Mandatory, if item_type is inventory. |
| `vendorId` | `string` | No | Preferred vendor ID. |
| `reorderLevel` | `string` | No | Reorder level of the item. |
| `initialStock` | `string` | No | Opening stock of the item. |
| `initialStockRate` | `string` | No | Unit price of the opening stock. |
| `itemTaxPreferences` | `string[]` | No | A list of item tax objects. Format: {"tax_id":"12312312031200","tax_specification":"intra"} |
