With Discord's Webhook API, you can create applications that send messages to
Discord channels automatically. For example, you could create a bot that sends
a message to a channel every time a new blog post is published, or a message to
a channel when someone joins your Discord server.
Here are some ideas for what you could build using the Discord Webhook API:
import { axios } from "@pipedream/platform"
export default defineComponent({
props: {
discord_webhook: {
type: "app",
app: "discord_webhook",
}
},
async run({steps, $}) {
return await axios($, {
url: `https://discord.com/api/users/@me`,
headers: {
Authorization: `Bearer ${this.discord_webhook.$auth.oauth_access_token}`,
},
})
},
})
With the Slack API, you can build all sorts of integrations and applications to
make your work life easier. Here are just a few examples:
import { axios } from "@pipedream/platform"
export default defineComponent({
props: {
slack: {
type: "app",
app: "slack",
}
},
async run({steps, $}) {
return await axios($, {
url: `https://slack.com/api/users.profile.get`,
headers: {
Authorization: `Bearer ${this.slack.$auth.oauth_access_token}`,
},
})
},
})
