## Description

Sends an event to an EventBridge event bus. [See documentation](https://docs.aws.amazon.com/AWSJavaScriptSDK/v3/latest/client/eventbridge/command/PutEventsCommand/)

## Props

| Prop | Type | Required | Description |
|---|---|---|---|
| `region` | `string` | Yes | Region tied to your EventBridge event bus, e.g. us-east-1 or us-west-2 Options are loaded from the connected account. |
| `eventBusName` | `string` | Yes | The name of the EventBridge event bus Options are loaded from the connected account. |
| `eventData` | `object` | Yes | A JSON object that will be sent as an event |
| `detailType` | `string` | No | Free-form string, with a maximum of 128 characters, used to decide what fields to expect in the event detail. Detail, DetailType, and Source are required for EventBridge to successfully send an event to an event bus. If you include event entries in a request that does not include each of those properties, EventBridge fails that entry. If you submit a request in which none of the entries have each of these properties, EventBridge fails the entire request. |

## Run it

import { StreamableHTTPClientTransport } from "@modelcontextprotocol/sdk/client/streamableHttp.js"
import { PipedreamClient } from "@pipedream/sdk"

const pd = new PipedreamClient({

  clientSecret: process.env.PIPEDREAM_CLIENT_SECRET!,
  projectEnvironment: "production",
})

const accessToken = await pd.rawAccessToken

const transport = new StreamableHTTPClientTransport(

  },
)

const mcp = new Client({ name: "my-agent", version: "1.0.0" })
await mcp.connect(transport)

const { tools } = await mcp.listTools()

// listTools() hands your model this tool's input schema, so it can
// fill the arguments itself:
const result = await mcp.callTool({
  name: "aws-eventbridge-send-event",
  arguments: {
    region: "AWS Region",
    eventBusName: "Event Bus Name",
  },
